Ultimate Vintage DIY Wedding with Piano Dessert Table

Last Updated: March 11th, 2021/12 CommentsTopic: REAL WEDDINGSby Meredith

Truly the ultimate vintage DIY wedding. We see a lot of amazing weddings on a daily basis, but we have never seen such an amazing wedding with special DIY crafts and vintage details.  Plus, this wedding was all put together in ONE month. I cannot even imagine the stress level of planning a wedding from start to finish in only one month – awesome job Rachel and Brian!

Nickel Images were behind the scenes and have captured the details of vintage and farm perfectly.  This surely will be a day that Rachel and Brian will remember.

So a little side note, the groom’s ring (which was his grandfathers) fell out of the ring bearer’s box and took 3 hours and a metal detector to find!

DIY details - wood arrow signage and hanging candles in mason jarsPin

hanging picture frames from canopy scaffoldPin

This is a neat DIY craft – hanging empty picture frames with twine from the poles of the canopy tent.

cutlery in hand-made holders with burlap tableclothPin

vintage chairs with a carved farm motif and chalkboard sign on backPin

wood rounds, apples, and plants from the farmPin

wicker chairs and old trunk with hanging curtainsPin

desserts displayed on vintage pianoPin

What a way to use an old piano, we’ve never seen a piano dessert table like this!

Congrats Rachel and Brian! We hope you all enjoyed this wedding as much as we did!

I photographed this wedding, and was absolutely floored when I saw what had been done in such a short amount of time for this beautiful affair. I cannot stress how important a coordinator is for any event, but in this case, the coordinator/designer (Rae), worked her tail-feathers off for Rachel and pulled this event together so beautifully!

This wedding looks better than so many that are planned over a year or more. What breathtaking scenery, gorgeous vintage details, and I love that horse 🙂 Job well done to the happy couple!
