Vintage & Boho Styled Shoot in Dallas
Wow, if today’s boho styled shoot isn’t the right way to start summer off — I don’t know what is! Bright pops of color, delicious desserts, brightly colored cocktails, and a spectacular firework display finish. This would certainly be a summer night to remember.
A little about the shoot from Lead Planner of Forever Events and Weddings, Emily Shannon:
“For this shoot, we knew we wanted to do something different. So many brides are scared of bold colors and stick to light pastels for their wedding. We wanted to show that bold is beautiful. It started with the flowers. We wanted oranges, pinks and yellows in a very organic look and feel. We added hints of raspberries and other fruits as well.
“This set the whole boho styled shoot theme. From there, we went with a vintage feel for the place settings by incorporating mixed metals, old (and colorful) books, mix-matched china and bright napkins. We added some fun, floral menu cards and place cards to top off the look.
“Even the food we used had lots of color. We served mixed berries fruit cups, fruit and yogurt breakfast parfaits with honey almond granola, mini buttermilk chicken and waffles, sparkling tropical punch, sliced pies and vanilla butter cake for dessert.
“The bride’s hair and makeup was very natural and just emphasized her beauty and topped it off with an unsymmetrical floral crown. The photobus added a unique feel and continued with the vintage boho look. And of course the couple (and shoot) ended the night with fireworks!”
