We had the absolute pleasure of having Sam photograph our wedding in July, and we couldn’t recommend him more highly. From start to finish he was incredibly organised, which gave us huge confidence in the lead up to the day. On the day itself, he brought such a sense of calm — quietly in control and completely unflappable. His presence was both steady and grounding, which made such a difference to us and our guests. Sam did an incredible job photographing our countryside tipi wedding in Frome. We could not be happier with the photographs. He's friendly, personable and professional. On the day, he captured the numerous elements of our celebration including many unscripted natural moments operating mostly under the radar but also got some excellent posed snaps (captured efficiently and enjoyably!). We just got our wedding photos back from Sam, and -- WOW -- he did a wonderful job. He really captured the spirit of the day, with so many beautiful, unposed shots of our guests laughing and having fun. I am so glad that we had him with us! Sam was a pleasure to work with throughout. His experience absolutely shone through and we felt in very safe hands both in the lead-up and on the day. Having been to a wedding or two, he was able to guide us on timings for the day and how to organise the flow of people so that they were in the right place at the right time. For things like the confetti aisle, he knew exactly what to say to us and to our guests so that we could get lovely shots. Impressively, when we needed to adapt our schedule on the day, Sam worked seamlessly with the venue team to update the plan for photos without us needing to do a thing. Sam captured so many beautiful, natural moments from us and our guests, without once making us feel posed or uncomfortable. He put us totally at ease with his professionalism and calm, friendly demeanor. Sam captured exactly the style we were hoping for, with our friends and family relaxed and having fun, and pictures of the two of us that we often didn't notice he was taking. He has a wonderful eye for capturing emotion and really knows his craft. He gave us everything we hoped for from our wedding photos: a short, upbeat group photo session; wonderful unposed shots of everyone having fun; and fun, relaxed mini photo-shoots of the two of us. Sam was absolutely incredible when he photographed out wedding.
