Maybe I am a little bit bias because I live on the West Coast, but this styled shoot has fabulous written all over it! It may be the peacefulness of the water, the scenic island views, or the combination of glamorous textures among the rock landscape that creates an extraordinary styled shoot.

Photographer’s Comments: “There is no short of beauty on Vancouver Island, and local weddings are often inspired by the thick lush forests and the ocean side shores. This particular photo shoot featured both inspirations with lush greens, accents of ocean blues, and locally grown flora. We wanted to jazz up the boho theme and introduced feather accents, mixed in with gold touches anywhere we could.”
“Using a hand-crafted drift wood deck alongside the ocean, we created a haven of beauty using gold sequin overlays, runners and candlelight. Accents of royal blues in the pillows, the vintage heirloom vases added just the right touch of charm.
“The bride was dressed in a stunning, non-traditional gown in a blush tone, while the groom dressed in a navy blue suit. We dressed the bride with a floral crown consisting of locally grown hellobores in numerous colors, a few orchids with plumosa greens and pieris.

“The cascase bridal bouquet was inspired by the greens in the forest and consisted of 2 elements, plumosa and ivy. Attached to the bouquet was a length of soft blush tulle to add to the flowing effect.”
“Starting the photo shoot right on the beach, moving up to the driftwood deck and then back down to the beach to create a romantic beach-side fire, lit with just the amount of candlelight to create ambiance. Fresh seafood and handmade marshmallow s’mores were cooked right on the fire for our couple to feast and enjoy.”
