Wedding Story & Gallery

Lyndsay and Mike are one connected couple. Choosing Casa Dorada as their wedding venue, they made their union official surrounded by those nearest and dearest to them.

Simplicity and elegance were the themes that shone throughout the happy couples day. Lyndsay’s intricate dress was stunning against the backdrop of the ocean. The only thing that outshone it was the clear affection that Lyndsay and Mike have for one another.

Lyndsay and Mike, thank you for choosing me as your Cabo wedding photographer.

A few words from the bride:

“When we got engaged in December 2016, we knew we wanted to have a small, intimate wedding with our family and closest friends.  We immediately decided we wanted to have a destination wedding and Cabo is one of our favorite places so it was at the top of our list!  When researching wedding locations, Casa Dorada Los Cabos Resort & Spa was the perfect setting for our wedding.  The resort is beautiful and is very close to restaurants, shopping, and the marina.  We worked with Denise of Be That Bride Events, who was wonderful and made the planning so easy!

We started the weekend with a welcome party at the Baja Brewing Company located on the Cabo Villas Rooftop.  Guests enjoyed beautiful views of Land’s End and noshed on tacos, margaritas, and beer!  There was a live band playing on the rooftop, and it was the perfect way to kick things off.  We opted to not have a wedding party because we just wanted our friends to come celebrate with us, and to have a fun, relaxing vacation.  The next day, the ceremony began at 6pm on the terrace at Casa Dorada.  Lyndsay walked down the isle in a lace Wtoo by Watters gown and chapel length veil to an acoustic version of ‘Sweet Child o’ Mine’ played by guitarist, Arturo Sotomayer.   Arturo also played during the cocktail hour while guests enjoyed drinks and hors d’oeuvres, and we were able to sneak away to take some wedding portraits on the beach.  The reception also took place on the terrace where we had two large tables decorated with lace runners and cream and pink roses in gold vases.  After dinner, DJ Alex kept everyone on the dance floor until the party ended.  The next morning we hosted a poolside brunch for everyone and hung out at the pool for the rest of the day!  By having our wedding day on Friday, we were able to relax and spend time with family and friends all day Saturday before people started to travel back home on Sunday.

The weekend was so fun and special and we are in love with our photos!  Sara and Ramon did a beautiful job and were so great to work with.  They captured every important moment, and we will be looking back on these happy memories for years to come! “
