Today’s wedding has us longing for summer! It’s one of the best beach weddings we’ve ever seen, and all the personal touches make it even more special–from the hundreds of paper cranes to Ingrid’s dress, which was made with love by her mom! The photos, courtesy of We Love Pictures, are pretty amazing too!

We’ve been noticing a trend of floral crowns on brides and bridesmaids and we must say, we are big fans! It’s so hippie-chic.

Love, love, love the ribbons!

The jumping bridal party shot…classic! We love the mismatched bridesmaids.

A woman in a strapless white wedding dress stands on a beach; in a close-up, she holds a bouquet of white flowers, capturing the elegance of Pieter and Ingrid's Wedding.

What a pretty bride! Can you believe her mom made that dress?

Now, let the paper crane goodness begin! Pieter and Ingrid used these handfolded beauties everywhere. Such a simple and inexpensive (albeit time-consuming) way to give your decor some major style.

What a sweet, sweet wedding. Thanks so much to We Love Pictures for sharing it with us!

I love the clear origami cranes! Was regular cellophane used or was it some other special material?

I'm loving everything about this wedding! And, is it just me or does he have a definite Luke Wilson-esque about him? What an adorable couple! xo -E.

So very pretty...I'm into paper cranes lately! I'm not sure if I have the patience to make them! {Japanese folklore state that 1000 handmade paper cranes made by the bride is said to bring the marriage good luck...I suspect a few paper cuts, too!}

Hi Katie! The location is totally gorgeous isn't it?! It's Strandkombuis, in Yzerfontein, South Africa.

This origami is incredible!! Stringing those beautiful cranes must have taken forever to create, but what a stunning DIY project they made!

Um. I'm not sure I've EVER seen a prettier wedding!! This location is to-die-for (where is it?) and the bride's dress is gorgeous... I can't believe her mother made it! Oh, and the images of the bride and groom dancing under the paper crane garland - incredible!!
