About This Wedding
Tell us about the Proposal
“Nash proposed on Christmas Eve in our living room. I had gone to bed and he stayed up to get some last minute wrapping done. He woke me up and I was in my pajamas, no makeup and hair in a ponytail (thank goodness there wasn’t a photographer). He was dressed in a suit and looked so handsome. Nash walked me into the living room in front of the Christmas Tree. The living room was filled with red roses and candles. He shared his love for me and popped the question.”Describe your Bridal Attire
“I wore a dress designed by Modern Trousseau and paired it with Betsy Johnson shoes.”Old, New, Borrowed, Blue. Did you follow that tradition?
“For my something borrowed my mom gave me a sapphire necklace (my birthstone) that I wore with my wedding dress. For my something old, I wore a little mouse pin that was my grandmothers and I pinned it into my bouquet. My wedding dress was my something new.”Where did you get the inspiration for your color palette and design?
“My personality is very girly and glam and I wanted to incorporate that within the decor.”Favorite ceremony memory?
“My favorite ceremony moment was my processional song that I chose. It was “You’re So Cool” from True Romance, which is my most favorite movie of all time. No one besides our DJ knew the song. The look on the groom’s face said it all.”Did you do a First Look before the ceremony?
Yes, we did a first look. It was intimate moment and absolutely perfect. It also took a lot of the ceremony stress off.Why did you pick that location for your ceremony?
I actually had coordinated a friend’s wedding at the Sundance Ski Resort and fell in love with the location. What favors did you give your wedding guests
We have a good group that like to party so we decided to give our guests a “Recovery Kits” aka “Hangover Kits” for the next morning. What you would have done differently, if anything.
I wish I would have written down the guests I wanted to thank. I got so nervous and forgot to thank important people.Gallery
