From the bride: “Our #1 goal was for everyone to have FUN! We didn’t want it to be all stuffy and uptight. We wanted to focus on happy, fun things and make everyone feel welcome and at ease. “I custom ordered a funny cake topper that was supposed to be Brian and I because he kept asking for cake toppers of a bride and groom. I initially thought it was tacky, but decided to surprise him at the last minute. “My mom hand wrote all of the signs, including the seating chart. If I am being honest, she didn’t write the ‘Please Find Your Seat’ part of the seating chart and the ‘Dancing Shoes’ sign, but she did the rest! “She practiced calligraphy over the past year and tried to incorporate a little bit of that when she wrote the signs and the seating chart. It was really special to me. “My wedding band and engagement ring are almost identical to my mom’s. I loved hers so much I copied her almost exactly!”Gallery
