Wedding Story
Photographer’s Comments: “Ashlee and Jeffrey picked the perfect venue and the perfect day in September to tie the knot. I mix of clean white, greens, flowers, and vintage table settings made the perfect decor for their story.
“Floral bridesmaids dresses, a showstopping BHLDN wedding gown, and the sweetest handwritten letters made this a favorite of mine.
“When I took the bride outside for her portraits in the garden, she said to me, ‘I think I’m about to drop a bomb on you…’ so I braced myself for a minor emergency. ‘I think I want to see Jeffrey. I want to see him before the ceremony.’
“Crisis averted, of course you can absolutely see your groom!
“Ashlee had a very traditional approach when planning her nuptials, at least this particular part. She always knew they should wait to see each other. But after lots of stressful events leading up to the wedding day, her heart said otherwise.
“I watched the weight of the world fall off her shoulders as she grinned from ear to ear after admitting those words. She was a new woman.
“Their first meeting was a private affair and it made me cry, as most don’t. It was sweet, innocent, and full of joy– their entire day was.
“Embracing a smaller budget and several Pinterest-worthy ideas, Ashlee and her mother collected antique place settings for months leading up to her big day. Mix-and-match plates, candlesticks and picture frames strewn the reception tables inside the gorgeous old Aeneas Building as natural light shown in from all sides.
“The cake was as lovely and dainty as the bride, and the guests as giddy as the groom. The personal details and love that was poured into this affair were unmatched.
“You can see it in their faces. Ashlee and Jeffrey had a beautiful, intimate celebration filled with lots of laughter and (happy) tears.”
