Brittany & Jason

Mountain Vineyard Wedding in North Carolina

Mt. Airy, NC

Modern

L&L Remarks

Gorgeous vineyard location with weather that looks like it eventually cooperated for the bride and groom to get amazing sunset photos. S’mores, DIY wine bottle menus, and other unique decor make this wedding in North Carolina one to enjoy!

Bridal shoes with lace embellishment to match your veil – brilliant idea!

Wine Bottle Menus

We love this unique DIY idea! SHouldn’t be too difficult to find some empty bottles, then just soak them in a bathtub full of hot water to remove the existing glue and labels. After that, print out some labels and affix to the bottles!

  • We featured this alternative cork guest book idea in a roundup post we did a while back. Love it!

Wedding Story

Photographer’s Comments: “Jason and Brittany are an amazing couple. Their inspiration for their wedding was based in the mutual love of food and wine and leaving a small footprint. They wanted a venue that had amazing views because they believe that great views and beauty are most of the battle when it comes to wedding venue style. And Round Peak has beauty in spades.

“They had a gem of a planner in Kimberly from Weddings by the Vine, who kept the day running smoothly, and Empty Pocket played some mellow and fun tunes for the Jason and Brittany and their guests to dance the night away. The evening ended in a beautiful sparkler exit, and well wishes from all.”

“Jason hand cut rounds of tree trunk as a base for center pieces and they up-cycled empty wine bottles into menus for display on the table, and used the corks for the guests to sign.”

“One of their requests for me was to photograph the beautiful view from the open, airy patio where they held their reception.  They chose flowers that were in season, and together with their friends assembled and designed every part of their wedding. It’s a tradition among their friends to plan and arrange flowers for their wedding.
