L&L Remarks
Today we have an amazing chic woodsy inspirational shoot captured by Aubrey Lisa Photography.
And as the bride said from the winery wedding on Tuesday,
“Find good vendors and trust their opinions! It really makes everyone’s lives easier when you find someone who knows what they’re doing. Give them a good idea of what you want and then let them do it. Don’t micro-manage! This is the first wedding you’re planning, they have done this one aspect of weddings too many times to count. Trust them!”
I am starting to see why the comments above are such good advice. I have met with my venue manager, my musician, and my marriage commissioner this week. All three of these amazing people will be working with one another that day without having worked together before. Even though this is a big 15 minute production, unlike performers who get to practice over and over, this is somewhat of a one shot deal. I do trust them and they are all very much on the ball, but I can see why it is so important to find good vendors you click with and be able to trust them.
I’m pretty sure my main thought walking down the grand staircase and aisle that day, along with having a butterfly colony in my stomach, will be ‘please don’t trip, please don’t trip!’ I doubt I will worry if the music stopped too soon or somebody walked too slow/fast.
