Wedding Story

From the Bride: “We were so excited to plan a big, fun party to get all our friends and family together and celebrate making our commitment to each other official.

“The Magic Gardens was already one of our favorite places in Philadelphia, and finding out they were a venue as well as a great small non-profit was perfect. It’s evident that I love color, and if I had 10+ hours on my wedding day to decorate a blank slate I would, but the Magic Gardens already had my aesthetic down without the many hours and stress another option might require.

“I had no need to hire any sort of wedding coordinator — my dad was the best wedding planner a bride could ask for, and my caterer was extremely helpful (and patient) as well.

“We were able to stay relatively stress-free with plenty of advance planning and the help of our family. What followed was a happy whirlwind. In the big rush of it all, some little things were forgotten. It was at least 9:00pm when I realized that I never saw my bouquet, and many guests had already left when we found the favors on which we spent hours assembling in a box somewhere.

“The little things didn’t matter though, we were just delighted with everything and to see all the people we love, and to see them support our love. In the end, our only regret was that it all went by so quickly.”
