“Came the spring with all its splendor, all its birds and all its blossoms, all its flowers, and leave and grasses.” – Henry Wadsworth Longfellow
The white, cream, gold, and blush tones of this dreamy, romantic shoot hinted at the promise of the coming spring season. Surrounded with immense pecan trees, and rolling hills and valleys, The Wedding Barn at L’Horne (circa 1904) served as the perfect setting to bring our vision to life.
Gold accents in both the bride’s jewelry and the table settings brought a touch of glam, while still keeping the feel soft and romantic. This soft, feminine pallet is highlighted in the floral arrangements from the day. The bride’s bouquet was filled with peonies and ranunculus. Hydrangeas, veronica, tulips, roses and ranunculus overflowed from the table’s centerpiece.
The bride’s lace gown, paired perfectly with the vintage couch and gold trimmed vintage china and glassware of the romantic table setting. All these elements joined together to add a perfect touch of elegance to the natural surroundings.
