Wedding Story
Photographer’s Comments: “This wedding is what dreams are made of! Everyone involved in the making of this wedding was absolutely amazing.
“Not only was Will and Dusti the best, but so was their bridal party!!
“This was our first time shooting at The Union on Eighth, and we cannot wait to be able to go back — it was incredible and so trend.
“In Texas you get a lot of barn in rustic weddings, so having this boho wedding in an industrial building was so refreshing. We just want to wish them the best and it was such an honor! “
Bridal Q & A
Q1: Tell us about your wedding!
“From the moment I was born I have always loved funky, non matchy things. I would say my inspiration/ theme is boho country. Everyone my entire life has always told me that I “am only person they know that could wear that.”
“I planned everything around the bridesmaids dresses. I loved the idea of my bridesmaids wearing different colors/shades and styles of dresses. Blue is the color of my eyes, and photographs so well that I just knew I had to do different shades of blue.”
Q2: Let’s talk wedding decor
“The venue and my floral were SO BEAUTIFUL that decorations didn’t play a huge part on my wedding day.”
Q3: What were the florals like in your wedding?
“Floral was everything at my wedding. When I talked to my florist for the first time I told her I wanted every funky colored flower she could think of, and I wanted my bouquet to be big and wild. Everything was covered in flowers. Floral made my wedding what it was.”
Q4: Did you personalize the day in any way?”
“I gained an angel boy step son and I loved doing a gift exchange with him. He gave me a ring, I gave him a necklace.”
Q5: Let’s talk fashion
“I wanted a classic wedding gown since my floral (bouquet & flower crown) were so vibrant. I bought the first dress I tried on.”
Q6: How did you meet?
“A mutual friend set Will and I up. I know this sounds super cheesy but we knew after date 1 this was the real deal. It was Christmas time… Will, Tristan, and I were opening gifts together. I opened a candle (Tristan and I’s favorite thing to shop for) on the candle was a picture of all of that said “Will you marry us?” IT WAS PERFECT.”
Q7: What was the most anticipated or special moment of your wedding day?
“SEEING WILL’S FACE WHEN I WALKED DOWN THE AISLE.
“He said he wouldn’t cry.” :-)
Q8: Do you have any wedding planning or marriage advice that you’d like to share with other couples planning their day?
“Relax!!! Spend money on floral, venue, and photography.
“Be different.”
