Photographer’s Remarks: “Elaina and Brian embodied a timeless bride and groom with impeccable taste, class, and romance. Their complete adoration for each other paired with a well tailored tux and jaw-dropping Hailey Paige gown made this couple appear as though they were straight out of a fairytale, and kept me melting over every minute I got to spend photographing them.
“The details that brought the wedding together couldn’t have been more perfect for a modern spin on old fairytale inspiration. Chandeliers dripping with greenery and crystal, gold candelabras, and touches of sparkle wherever you looked, set against the backdrop of a historic mansion, Elaina and Brian’s wedding was truly a sight to behold!”
Planner’s Remarks: “You know how they say that girls dream about their wedding day their whole lives? That’s how much research and time Elaina had dedicated to planning her wedding before she ever even contacted me! My job as a planner is to guide a client’s design, stay within the budget, and deliver a seamless wedding day. Elaina booked me for my Signature Package, which means I create custom invitations, decorations, and paper products at the cost of materials. I’m able to customize details and do more within a budget, and this was a prime example of how this service can truly custom tailor an event while keeping a bride on budget!
“Although Elaina initially started with a Great Gatsby theme, it soon evolved into a Secret Garden theme, and even eventually included Fairytale elements as well! It was an ever-evolving concept, but Elaina was a modern bride and loved including elements that were new and fresh. I personally loved the challenge of making her dream wedding a reality for her!
“I was thankful that all these themes tied together so seamlessly, and I was able to craft plenty of decor pieces – keeping her within budget. The gold accents, F. Scott Fitzgerald quotes, and vintage accents helped tie in her Great Gatsby themes, and incredible floral chandelier & centerpiece installations helped it feel like a secret garden.
“I included glass cloches with roses inside, as inspired by Beauty & the Beast. But my favorite part of the entire day was when the florist surprised us all with HUGE feather headpieces for the team of horses pulling the white “Cinderella” carriage. It truly completed the fairytale look, and I loved hearing the guests gasp as the bride & her father arrived dramatically to walk her down the aisle.
“The Reception was custom tailored as well! The bride’s family is of Greek heritage, so we did a modern twist on a popular Greek menu. And the patisserie created a Pink velvet cake to match the color scheme! The groom’s family were members of a popular local band, called the Big Sky Mudflaps. So of course, as soon as Elaina & Brian danced their first choreographed dance, the band kicked off and guests all hit the dance floor for the entire night! It was quite the party!”
