Photographer’s Remarks: “I photographed this wedding at 35 weeks pregnant and nothing could have stopped me from being there. Truly. I have known Liz basically my whole life. Our parents were great friends long before we were even thought about, so when I got the email about documenting this day, I was without a doubt going to do it. “Graylyn Estate was the absolute perfect venue for Eric & Liz to say ‘I do’. It was their style completely. Elegant, classic, timeless, traditional with a little bit of oompf. “It rained and rained all day and it still felt just as warm and happy, either way. Eric & Liz have a special kind of bond. Not just a romantic one, but a true friendship. It was a pleasure watching them throughout the day and into the night, laughing and enjoying one another. They even performed a personalized first dance which was such a fun, unexpected twist. Liz is a nanny in Charlotte, NC to a plethora of children that worship the ground she walks on. She gifted them all with custom little tins full of goodies that suited each individual person. How adorable is that? “Rebecca Rose Events absolutely killed it. The decor, the organization, the flowers — everything was seamless thanks to their help and expertise. “This day couldn’t have been more beautiful, rain or shine. I am abundantly happy for my sweet friends, their families and all of those who got to be a part of this day.
