Wedding Story
The inspiration for a wedding can come from just about anywhere: your favorite flower, a movie, or something as simple as a color combination. One great place to draw inspiration for your wedding is your honeymoon location!
1. Paris. When we think Paris we think Marie Antoinette, and when we think Marie Antoinette we think extravagant! So we put together a wedding that is extravagant. In this wedding, gold and cream are dominant while pale blue plays a more subtle role. Feathers and masks add a playful, vintage touch. The bride would wear a ruffled dress and carry a bouquet of feathers mixed with flowers. Just like France, this wedding will be remembered for its pastries, with a huge variety from french macaroons to your cake. Your guests will leave with a stomach full of good food and a desire to travel to Paris!

2. Santorini. What immediately comes to mind when we think of Greece is the white buildings of Santorini, with their blue domed roofs. We took that color scheme as the inspiration for a wedding full of creamy whites and pops of royal blue. The bride would wear an airy and loose wedding dress with layers of ruffles and blue gladiator sandals peeking out from underneath. The food would include traditional Greek fare like lamb pitas with tzatziki sauce and bread with olive oil. Blueberries in the desserts would play off the blue roofs of Santorini and other blue details would be incorporated throughout the table decor.

3. Ireland: Two things came to mind when we thought of Ireland: cute Irish accents and the color green! Since cute accents are incredibly hard to blog about in a photo board, we decided to move forward with green. From the plant inspired centerpieces to the woodsy dessert table, green would be all over the decor. The bride would wear a corset dress with an elaborate hat while the groom would dress in a simple tie and vest. The ceremony would take place under a beautiful handmade arch, and the reception would move indoors to a rustic banquet room, lit by lanterns and candles. At the end of the night the bride and groom would ride off on a bike built for two!

4. Mexico. Mexico is known for vibrant colors and festive parties. For this wedding, the decor would be drenched with color, with an abundance of brightly colored blooms and traditional papel picado banners. Succulents would be used throughout, from the favors to the bouquets to the cake. The bridesmaids would all wear different colored dresses with embroidered flowers and the bride would rock a big red flower in her hair. The delicious menu would include tamales, tacos, and sangria. A mariachi band would keep the party going and a donkey would make a unique getaway “vehicle”!
