Their Story

Our jaws dropped when we saw this amazing engagement session! Here is the story behind their lovely Midnight in Paris engagement session from their photographer Sassyfras Studios. When brainstorming for their session, and knowing their love for cinema for music, we originally had the plan to do a silent movie shoot. When we talked to Kate about our plans.. she said OOHH it sounds so Midnight in Paris. Well.. I immediately had to watch the movie, and was so inspired, that we knew this was the perfect session idea for them. We built the whole shoot around the magic and lights of Paris at Midnight, the love that fills the air, the cafes that line the streets and the music that fills the air. Just like Cole Porter in the movie, Joe loves playing the piano, { he said besides Kate, that is the one thing he can’t live without} so we knew we wanted to bring that aspect into the shoot.
