A Sentimental Blush & Grey Wedding at Hermann Hill

Photographer’s Comments: “Kate and Bailey (who are middle-school sweethearts!!) had the absolute perfect wedding day that felt as if it belonged in a Nicholas Sparks romance novel!  Their Hermann Hill summer wedding  began at a small stone church in the country and ended with sunset pictures on the bluffs of the Missouri river.

“Kate has been dreaming of her perfect wedding since she was 10 years old–down to the very last color and detail, and it never changed.  Peachy blush dresses for her bridesmaids and light gray tuxes for the guys. The most gorgeous peachy blush roses and soft greenery in the bouquets just oozed the romantic summer wedding vibe! 10-year-old Kate’s wedding day dreams came true, and I would venture to guess it was even better than she imagined!  It was stunning! 

“Not only were all of her details beautiful, but also the sentimental touches were so intentional throughout the day. Generations of Kate’s family (both her parents and grandparents) were married at the same small stone church, down a long gravel road and nestled in the hills of Hermann, Missouri.  Kate wore a gorgeous ring given to her by her grandmother–who also gifted her a horseshoe-shaped brooch that had been passed down since the 1700s!!!  And Kate’s new Maggie Sottero dress and cathedral length veil tied the antique and ornate details together with an elegant and romantic touch.

“Kate and Bailey had a beautiful wedding day surrounded by  friends and family in a quaint venue that was so special to them.  It was an absolute joy  to photograph their wedding and it is a day I’ll never forget!!”
