L&L Remarks
I never thought I would utter the words, “I like green bridesmaids dresses.” Today’s vintage wedding at Mercury Hall has made me a convert. I think the forest green dresses look absolutely stunning and provide relief from the usual pink bridesmaids dresses we see. (No offense to any brides out there – I am guilty of choosing a blushing pink bridesmaid color too!)
Once built as a church in 1904 (hence the stained glass windows), the building was then moved to its present location in 1997 and turned into a great wedding and event venue. The design of the building makes it look quaint and cute, perfect as a wedding reception hall. At a capacity of 150 people, Mercury Hall provides you and your guests plenty of room to dance the night away!
What We Love
- Nothing says outdoor vintage wedding ceremony more than a large chandelier hanging from the trees overhead. I would not want to be the person who has to climb that tree to retrieve the chandelier!
- Vintage wedding at Mercury Hall with a quaint seating area underneath strings of outdoor lights. A wonderful way for guests to mingle outdoors and maintain the vintage atmosphere.
I also love the green dresses, but those shoes really make the outfit for me! And, that huge, gorgeous chandelier hanging in the tree, wow!
