L&L Remarks
I went to a wedding fair last night to connect with new photographers and vendors. From the looks of it, no matter what the season wedding planning is in full swing. One photographer in particular had a very rustic feel to their photos and booth – they used the same shutter screen as the one found in this ceremony backdrop. Its funny how such a simple object gives some pizzazz to the overall look. I think it matches perfectly with this romantic rustic winery wedding.
I met a lot of rental furniture/decor vendors last night too. Sure, you could rent a shutter screen, but where is the fun in that?! Start perusing Craigslist ads to find that perfect wooden screen. Then buy some chalk paint to make it look aged … and voila! A great DIY project to stay tuned for.
We have a beautiful rustic winery wedding in Northern California. Kira and Steven had been together for over seven years and decided to get married on the day of their 8th anniversary. This gorgeous couple held their ceremony and reception at the Guglielmo Winery in Morgan Hill, which was established in 1925. The ceremony took place in the Heritage Room, which is a great rustic building for a small and intimate wedding. Bloomster’s designed and decorated the event impeccably leaving no detail untouched – from the rustic wood stumps lining the aisle to the romantic candlelit ceremony.
Love the punch of color on the bride’s waist and that reception tent! Wow, the faerie lights make it warm, inviting, and absolutely elegant.
