Their Story
“Lauren and Thomas first crossed paths while on campus at Clemson. While rushing to her next class, she ran down to the door of the building, and there stood this dashing young man, holding it just for her. He instantly fell for those cute dimples and that smile of hers, and they exchanged phone numbers casually. As life would have it, they fell head over heals for each other! There’s a path on campus, and legend has it that if you hold hands with someone while walking that path, you’ll get married. Thomas walked Lauren down that path, holding her hand, and at the end, he proposed to her!
Wedding Day in Greenville
“Their wedding day festivities took place in the heart of Greenville SC, all along the river. On their big day, these two took time to themselves to do something they’ve done their entire relationship – they wrote each other a note in their journals.
“Reading these secret messages to each other about their excitement for the day brought on tears and laughter. All of the borrowed/blue/old/new items came from the women in Lauren’s family, and her mom, MOH, and grandmother were there to get her into her gown and celebrate with her.
“When the time came, Lauren walked down to Thomas, they said their vows, and made it all official in front of their best friends and family. After this, they headed to the Wyche Pavilion, and that’s when I saw it. This spot where the riverbank had rocks above the water level, and would allow for them to have their private newlywed photos taken.
“The rest of the evening was spent dancing the night away in the open air, eating all the desserts, and taking in all the special moments.”
