Liz & Jimmy

Rustic Wildflower Wedding in Breckenridge, Colorado

Breckenridge, CO

Rustic

L&L Remarks

Things to lookout for:

  • Great idea for a guest book. Guests have to snap a selfie with the Polaroid camera, then stick it to the book and sign a message. That way, you are pretty much guaranteed to get a cool lineup of all our wedding guests as a visual memory of your day.
  • Stylish matching socks and shoes for the groomsmen always makes for a fun photo op. Although, I have to say that I would love to see the groom in a different color one. I think it makes for an instant contrast and easily identifiable groom. But, whatever makes you happy on your day. That’s what matters most
  • Mmmmm, cupcakes and cake on wood rounds. Rustic style and taste at its best!

Wedding Story

Photographer’s Remarks: “Liz and Jimmy’s Summer Ten Mile Station Breckenridge Colorado wedding was stunning. This couple is adorable and we can’t wait to share these photos with you.

They ordered the perfect Colorado day. It rained once or twice before the ceremony but cleared up just in time and left behind beautiful clouds. The wildflowers were out in abundance and the full moon rose as the sky turned a darker blue on Liz and Jimmy’s gorgeous wedding day.

Liz kept saying it perfectly, it didn’t feel real! Their wedding was surreal, dreamlike, set in a beautiful place and attended by joyful friends and family. It was awesome to see this beautiful couple so happy and to see how happy their families were for them. I feel like it was the perfect example of what a wedding can be. A community of loved ones supporting and uplifting the couple as they begin their new adventures together as husband and wife. The Bride’s grandfather officiated a beautiful ceremony adding a personal touch that only he could.

Liz and Jimmy, cheers to you! May your love continue to feel surreal in the best of ways. May it blossom like the wildflowers as you climb the mountains life throws at you. Because as you know, every mountain you get to the top of is another one you get to ski down.

I’m not going to lie, I’m a fan of nature metaphors as they apply to love. Maybe because the power of love is hard to describe in everyday words. In that case, enjoy this not your everyday wedding preview!”
