Wedding Story
Photographers’ Comments: “This wedding day has everything southern wedding dreams are made of. From the custom watercolor crest invitations to Logan’s cathedral length lace veil, it was all stunning. They wanted their day to be very classic, simple & elegant. It definitely fit that description in every way.
“Our favorite moments from their day are hands down the bridesmaid’s first look and their couple’s photos. It down poured the whole morning so their portraits were in an alley at the front of their church.”
How they met and their proposal story from the bride, Logan:
“Steven and I met at a Halloween social five years ago through mutual friends. I remembered thinking he had a pretty smile and great sense of humor, but he was in a relationship at the time. We stayed friends and would text off and on. He moved to Kansas City after graduation and I stayed in Auburn to continue pharmacy school. A couple years later Steven had an extra ticket to a Kenny Chesney concert in Auburn, and asked me to go with him as friends. I went and we had the best time singing at the top of our lungs. (We still claim How Forever Feels as our song) The only problem was that we lived 800 miles apart. A couple of months later he asked me on our first official date, and 2 years later here we are!!
“Steven planned a couple’s lake trip at Lake Martin about 2 months in advance. Saturday morning we woke up and cooked breakfast. I was ready to hit the lake, but Steven insisted that we get ready and go to lunch first. Steven pretended to be on a phone call out on the porch overlooking the lake and motioned for me to come outside. When I came outside, he proposed! Family and more friends arrived shortly after to eat lunch and celebrate with us.”
