Photographer Comments:
“The harvest season in Maine is short, but so so sweet! This fun time when couples are caught picking at family farms, inspired this shoot. From all the different berries, to fresh herbs, and veggies, there’s a lot to harvest in this coastal state.
Everything was designed with this in mind, bring a coastal Maine experience to the day. The venue is a barn with a lot of beautiful land overlooking a stream with plenty of sweet apple trees! From locally sourced fruits filling the tablescape, to the floral, the dessert spread, and the stationery design, harvest season flourishes throughout this day.
The floral design pulls in unripe berries while using soft and bright summer shades reminding us of the summer season. It’s carried on the table and paired with lots of fresh fruits, delicious champagne sprinkled with herbs.
The menu was planned with a Maine experience in mind; lobsters, mussels, goat cheese! The dessert carried the theme and was a delicious spread of options for anyone with a sweet tooth.”
