Wedding Story

Comments from the photographer: “Megan and Lee had a perfectly laid back and fun summer wedding at a beautiful hunting lodge in the country.  She has fantastic pastel flowers and a large part of her centerpieces were small cabbages.  Megan describes her wedding day as the “best day EVER.”  Megan’s vision for her wedding day was country rustic but she states, “I honestly just wanted everyone to have fun. I did not want to stress, nor did I want anyone else involved in our wedding to stress. I think my vision turned out perfectly!”

Megan states that her most memorable wedding moment was saying their vows.  “Lee messed up a few of the words he was supposed to repeat, and it was hilarious. Our photographer captured us laughing, and I’ll never forget that moment!”

In the brides words on how her groom proposed:  “We decided on a last minute cruise over spring break holidays. I had been so stressed out because it was my first year teaching, so Lee decided to plan a cruise. Little did I know, he had a ring in his pocket the entire ride to the port! He proposed to me on the second night on the ship in our room, just the 2 of us. It was perfect because he could say all the perfect things without being embarrassed in front of a crowd!”

The trees, the swing, the arches: all so beautiful, yet relaxed. I also adore her boots and that she had people sign the soles!
