Natural Romance Styled Shoot

Photographer’s Comments: “In this styled shoot, I wanted to portrait California’s forest natural beauty while adding in elements of romance and intimacy. This shoot was full of love and unforgettable moments. I had some incredibly talented vendors collaborating with me to make all of these beautiful details shine. Together we were able to create a very unique and magical ambiance. Thanks to my friend and fellow photographer Amanda (Amanda Aceves Photography) for assisting me during the shoot.

“I was lucky to have the opportunity to photograph this wedding inspiration styled shoot at Deer Park Villa, a beautiful venue surrounded by a redwood forest. I wanted nature to do the talking and provide an intimate but yet inviting and romantic setting. One of my goals was to create a harmony between the rich forest colors while integrating pale yellows, dusty rose colors and a hint of copper for a subtle contrast.

“My real married models, Annie and Mike, were perfect for my vision. I am in love with Annie’s smile and Mike’s sense of humor. They were so much fun to be around. The modern attire of the groom matched the lace vintage gown by Amy-Jo Tatum Bridal. Our hair & makeup artist Taylor Gallanter applied subtle earthy tones to make her eyes pop while bringing out her natural features. This girl is incredibly talented in hair and makeup artistry. The final touch was the jewelry by Lietofiore, love at first sight. Unique handmade pieces that matched my vision perfectly. The simple and joyful florals were designed by Studio Wildflower. The custom wedding invitation suite Nib & Flow crafted for this styled shoot incorporated bold yet timeless elegant details to create a unique look. Pale rose tones accompanied by earthy greens made for a romantic feel, so we paired that with wood for some juxtaposition.
