Perfect Purple & Mint Spring Wedding

Photographer’s Remarks: “From the moment these two walked in to the coffee shop for our first meeting, my mind started reeling with ideas of what their photographs would look like. I’m pretty sure these two missed their calling as models.

“When we arrived at the church to meet them for detail, getting ready and first look shots, they were both so incredibly relaxed. I could tell that they were excited about the wedding day, but more about being married and just being together.

“Olivia had flowers made – yes, those amazing things are not real!! They looked to real, and even felt real! Craziest thing! Just stunning!! And Olivia’s hair was unbelievably beautiful. Her hair style added so much.

“Olivia’s something blue was a blue locket with a picture of her grandmother on her own wedding day, those sentimental things get me. Every time.

“The wedding party was so excited for their friends that they all were watching through windows when Jacob and Olivia shared their first look. And the look that Jacob had when he saw her. That is why I LOVE first looks. May have had some tears myself.

“The church is one of our favorite’s to shoot in, with all of it’s detail and beauty, it is just spectacular! The great part about the day was taking the bridal party to the arboretum. I love a spot on the other side of the parking lot from where everyone usually want to go for pictures. With it’s tall trees and grasses. Just sets the mood.

“What made it fantastic is when a groomsman said, ‘I’ve been on the inside for pictures, but never over here, I like this location better.’  YES!! I love when our couples trust us to know where would be best for their portraits. To hear wedding party excited about them just makes it all the much better!

“We had a blast with Jacob and Olivia and all of their friends. They were all so natural and just a joy to be around. After portraits we headed over to the IHotel for the reception, where there were fun stories shared, lots of laughs, and tears of happiness for this amazing amazing couple.”
