Wedding Story
Jessica and Alex met in the fourth grade, but didn’t start dating until after college. We think it’s pretty sweet that they were friends for so long! Their outdoor wedding in Texas was absolutely breath-taking. The European charm of the venue, along with an orange color scheme throughout the day, weaved a fantastic visual story. We love the pom poms and ribbons that they used in the ceremony, reception, and even in bridal party belt attire!
From Jessica: “Finding bridesmaid dresses was an interesting process. More than anything I wanted something that was affordable. Many of my bridesmaids were coming from out of town, so I wanted to be conscious of their investment in the wedding. I ended up finding these dresses on one of my favorite sites – ModCloth! They were under $50 and the perfect shade of orange. I think everyone was happy with the style and price.”
“My favorite part of the ceremony were our ribbons. We had orange, blue and yellow ribbons hanging on the back row of chairs. They looked lovely fluttering in the wind before the ceremony.”
“My absolute favorite decoration at our wedding was our backdrop for our reception. We had orange, blue and white streamers hanging with gold glittery letters hanging in front, reading,”til death do us party”. Alex and I wanted our wedding to be one big party, a celebration of not just us, but our family and friends. We had a blast and based on the liveliness of the dance floor, I’m pretty sure everyone else did too!”

OMGosh, I love her wedding gown!
My favorite moment, possibly from any wedding, was while they were praying. Easily the most intimate couple of minutes of all time. Congratulations again guys. All the best to you both.
