Photographer’s Comments: “Let me just tell you about the most perfect wedding ever! Everything flowed smoothly, we weren’t rushed on time, and we had the most amazing sunset!
“The day started with Rachel getting ready in the amazing bridal suite at 28 Event Space. This bridal suite has everything. It has beds, showers, beautiful natural light.
“While Rachel was getting ready, I couldn’t help but notice all her incredible detail pieces. Her jewelry was all a gorgeous rose gold and her flowers were beyond amazing. But, I have to say her veil was my favorite part. She had this gorgeous long and flowy cathedral style veil. It was difficult for her to walk in, but it made the pictures absolutely amazing. I had too much fun tossing the veil around and capturing its movement.
“Following getting ready, Rachel and Isaac shared an emotional first look. He really couldn’t take his eyes off of her. Who could blame him? She was looking beyond gorgeous. They said a prayer and then we loaded the whole wedding party on the 28 Event Space party bus and headed to the West Bottoms.
“We had about two hours for portraits, which made me so happy! I love when couples dedicate so much of their day to pictures. It really makes me happy to be able to take my time and make sure every portrait I take is breathtaking. Portrait time is also a great time for the couple to unwind and just have fun together before the stress of the day. Reason one billion why I always recommend doing a first look.
“After portraits, we headed back to 28 Event Space and took a couple more portraits. I am so in love with the lights at 28 Event Space. Every picture naturally has an incredible background. I love this place sooo much!
“Of course, they had a gorgeous ceremony followed by more gorgeous portraits. I took Isaac and Rachel away to the Liberty Memorial for a couple minutes and we were able to experience an incredible sunset. The entire city seemed to turn a beautiful shade of purple. These two are just so natural in front of the camera. Every picture is just so perfect. I couldn’t contain my excitement while photographing them.
“We went back to 28 Event Space to conclude the night with a beautiful reception filled with excitement and dancing.

“Enjoy the process! It’s fun getting to make all of these decisions together and just remember that your wedding is about you and not as much for catering to others.”
What was your favorite part of the planning process?
“Food tasting!! And getting to work together to come to decisions on what we want.”
