“Samantha and Rodney are one of the sweetest couples I have had the pleasure of working with.  I had to keep a box of kleenex next to me the entire time I was editing their video.  Watching Rodney’s reaction seeing Sam come down the aisle and then hearing the heart-felt vows that they said to one another it just pulled at my heart strings.”

Tell us about the proposal

“We went to Hawaii in April of 2015, and I planned months in advance to have her best friend film the proposal. I got down on one knee on top of a volcanic rock and asked her to marry me. Luckily she said yes, because I bled all over the rock. It was worth it!”

Inspiration for your wedding cake

“We both hate frosting on cake, and I wanted something like an apple pie type deal, so my friends mother was able to make that happen.”

Describe the feeling you had on your wedding day

“When I saw your mother at the other end of the aisle and every thought that I had, along with the stress that I was feeling, it all went out the window. I realized that there is nothing more beautiful in this world than her. Seeing her walking down the aisle was like seeing her for the first time, but 10 times as much beauty.”

Advice for Brides-to-be

“Spend the little extra money on a planner, and take the time to explore all of your options when planning. Don’t settle unless you are compromising with your partner. And, don’t forget the love that you two share while planning, because it can be very stressful times for you both.”
