Simple Big Sur Wedding: Haley and Brett

Big Sur has to be one of my favorite wedding venues. You can’t beat the stunning views, beautiful surroundings and what seems to be always fabulous weather! Haley and Brett kept the decor simple and let the natural setting shine. Her dress is killer—she looks gorgeous in her Vera Wang gown!

Here is more from Haley: “As native Chicagoans, we decided to get married in Big Sur as an homage to our early lives together in Santa Monica, a time filled with weekend camping trips and explorations of California’s northern coast. An intimate celebration for friends and family, our wedding took place at sunset on Point 16. Simple and classic décor enhanced the cliff’s natural beauty and flowers by Kate Healey complemented the lush green surroundings.”

“Guests dined on locally sourced sirloin and whitefish, served buffet style by A Big Sur Affair. Glass vases filled with candles and lanterns strung overhead illuminated the night sky as guests danced and sang along to the tunes of DJ Britt Govea’s vinyl records. The roaring fire pit provided guests a warm spot to mix and mingle while snacking on the Brett’s favorite dessert – ice cream sundaes – as the evening drew to a close.”
