Photographer’s Remarks: “Every Halloween a very select group of Orlando wedding vendors come together to have fun with design and create a legendary styled shoot to celebrate the season. This particular shoot was inspired by a 1935 Hollywood film noire classic, The Bride of Frankenstein.
“We selected Quantum Leap Winery, with it’s dark exposed raw concrete walls and industrial shiny stainless steel wine vats as the perfect venue to recreate Dr. Frankenstein’s laboratory.
“Departing from the film, we decided that the happy couple should be Dr. Frankenstein himself, ever the dapper elegant looking gentleman, along with the beautifully perfect bride that he created for his notorious monster.
“As a nod to the original film, the bride’s make-up featured stitches painted across her jawline, and her hair featured the iconic lightning bolt streak. In keeping with the black, white and grey tones of film noire, a lavish table set for the festive occasion featured custom made black wrought iron candleabras, and lush florals of antique greyish-lavender Amnesia roses, white Blizzard roses, blush White O’Hara garden roses, white hydrangea, black callas, dark purple monkeytail fern curls — and of course, dozens of candles, perhaps to keep the sad and tragic monster that loathed fire away from the nuptials.”
“Over the Top’s linen Molecule provided the perfect cloth to dress the large estate table, and spooky paper products covered in gauze-like fabric from The Invitation Lounge finished each place setting.”
