Wicked Autumn Vineyard Styled Wedding

Photographer’s Comments:

“Something wicked this way comes to this gorgeous vineyard in the North Carolina Foothills. This daring couple has decided to show everyone the meaning of ’til death do us part. Embracing the deep color palette of the season, this editorial shoot shows that dark and moody can still be bold and colorful.

“For the bride, we wanted to bring out her inner enchantress, so your typical bridal white was not the right fit. This beautiful gown from Southern Bride is actually pieces of two Sherry Hill formalwear dresses, customized for our shoot.

“The Magnolia Bride completed our look with the glamorous black and silver crown.

“The groom wore a burgundy, paisley print tux jacket with a matching bowtie and black accessories.

“Our venue was the picturesque ReyLan Vineyards. The planner, Katharine Mann Events, coordinated our shoot with the venue and arranged each setup.

“The first location in the woods is were we held our magical first look. The focal point here was the beautiful bouquet of Dahlias, roses, and wild greens.

“The florist carried this over to our ceremony site, wrapping a large Juliette frame and tree trunk with florals, and greenery.

“We added gray and black candles to complete the scenery.  Our sweetheart table was set off with more black and grey tapered candles, a large floral arrangement, and a few velvet accessories to complete the mood. The table settings included twig inspired cutlery and menus designed by the talented Artemisa Calligraphy and Design.

“Just like the Stationary Suite, the menus were hand-dyed. The cake was created by our local Publix, with oranges roses added by the team at ReyLan Vineyards.

“For our final portion of the shoot, we enveloped our couple in puff of smoke and took a few farewell photos on the dock before the witching hour began.”
