Budget Friendly and Vintage DIY Wedding

Last Updated: March 21st, 2021/9 CommentsTopic: REAL WEDDINGSby Meredith

We have a soft spot for DIY weddings that are as budget-friendly as they are beautiful, and this one definitely fits the bill! We were tickled pink to hear that Judith got a lot of her ideas right here on Love & Lavender. From the paper boutonnieres and silkscreened hanky invitations to the vintage china and the chandelier hanging over the ceremony, the details were all lovely and perfectly fit Judith’s vision of a vintage DIY wedding.

The venue was Josh’s aunt’s backyard and the wedding party got ready in her house, which is 104 years old!

The locket Judith wore contained photos of her dad–such a special way to make sure he could be there with them. The bouquets were from Whole Foods, which is kind of crazy considering how beautiful they were!

Now this adorable couple is headed off on a new adventure–Judith is going to be teaching English in Osaka, Japan! Best wishes to you two, and thanks to Blue Elephant Photography for submitting this gorgeous wedding.

Thank you so much! The bride did great! She made all the boutonnieres a few hours before the wedding. They were so delicate and lovely 🙂
