Bohemian Open Air Rustic Wedding in Spain
Today’s featured bride and groom envisioned a wedding day surrounded by rustic country touches, breathing the open air in the hills of Spain. Wedding designers Bodas de Cuento gave them just that by transforming a private estate in La Vall de Bianya, Girona, for the occasion. A vintage caravan made crêpes for all the guests. The bride performed a dance for the groom, and a group of junior gymnasts that the bride instructs danced for guests. The bride is a gymnast and the groom a water polo player; together they make a beautiful pair as the fabulous wedding photos below prove!
Comments from the bride: “We wanted a wedding with a romantic bohemian air to it but keep it very natural, funny, familiar and youthful! We wanted each moment to reflect who we are. We love details, surprises, music from the 80’s, and flowers. Once we decided to get married at home, we were inspired by its surroundings, its natural wealth and fresh air.”
Advice to Future Brides
“Enjoy every moment, but to do so, you’ll need to be full of energy. It’s a day with lots of emotions and you can’t miss anything! Two days before the wedding, try do nothing! And sleep as much as you can the night before! Relax and allow your senses to be lifted.”
