Wedding at the Tate House Mansion in Pink & Gold
A wedding at the Tate House Mansion exudes romantic old world charm. Located in Tate, Georgia, the classic mansion was built in 1923 using pink and white marble and is sometimes known as the pink palace. This wedding brings me back to my own wedding day: I can visualize myself as the bride below, walking down the spiral staircase holding onto the wood railing and trying to hold back tears as I stepped out onto the terrace. Imposing marble columns are all that stand between me and my wedding guests, then a slow walk down the aisle to wed my best friend.
Oh-so-perfect for an elegant southern outdoor wedding, especially if your wedding colors are pink!
One glimpse of the chandelier and wooden staircase in the photo below is all I need to be in wedding bliss! One of my wedding day dreams was to traverse a staircase similar to this one for my processional. I know exactly what the bride is thinking as she slowly makes her way down to the bottom: don’t trip on the long dress!
Loving the fact that this couple chose to have string musicians play for their day.
If you are considering hiring a string quartet or trio for your wedding ceremony, I highly recommend spending the extra money! I had a three string trio (2 violins and 1 celo) that were spectacular. I think real life string instruments set an electrifying atmosphere for your wedding ceremony. Music is the language of love and really opens up the audience (and yourself) to feel the full emotions of your wedding.
Pale pink bridesmaid dresses and matching satin ribbon on aisle chairs, groomsmen in black, and a white column arch backdrop make for an elegant and coordinated outdoor wedding.
We love the elegant gold wrapped 3-tier cake design on gold serving platter — simple and effective.
