Cape Town Wedding at Welgemeend with Charm
Mark and Bridget got married the day of the super-moon, the day the moon was closest to the earth and appeared extra big. What perfect timing! Their Cape Town wedding at Welgemeend was full of fabulous details and lots of love.
When a photographer and a writer get married and their day is captured by Welovepictures, you know you’re in for a real treat!

We love the book ring pillow!
This adorable seating chart was created by Skinny La Minx. We love how the different tables were designated by different fabrics.
Advice from the bride on how to stay focused on what matters: “Don’t get caught up in the details! We did a LOT of crafting and DIY – we made 1000 paper cranes, amongst many other things – but we kept reminding ourselves that nobody else would notice all the tiny details. I think the point of planning a wedding is that it has to be a joy, and as soon as it stops being a joy you need to dial back on your expectations. There were so many other ideas we had, but in the end you choose your favorites and then remember that it’s one day and you want to be relaxed and happy enough to enjoy it.”
